Supplier integration

All suppliers, one platform

Ecombooster fetches product data from your suppliers automatically — whether they offer API, price files or web catalogs. Stop chasing updates manually.

Why Ecombooster?

Suppliers deliver data differently

One sends Excel, another has an API, a third only a web page. No standardization.

Manual price and stock updates

Price lists arriving by email. Stock levels checked manually. Always a risk of missing changes.

New products that never make it out

The supplier adds new products, but you don't notice until a customer asks.

How Ecombooster helps

1

Flexible data sources

Support for API, XML, CSV, JSON, Excel and web scrapers. Adapt to each supplier's format.

2

Scheduled fetching

Automatic updates on any schedule — daily, weekly or on demand. A running crawl shows a live count, a percentage and an estimated time of arrival. If the spider goes quiet for more than fifteen minutes the chip turns amber and says how long contact has been lost; if the silence continues, the run is marked failed rather than left showing as running. A source that has not delivered fresh data within its expected interval raises an alert by itself.

3

Automatic matching

Match supplier products to your existing products and find new items, price changes and discontinued articles. Every suggestion states what the match rests on — a brand name counts as supporting evidence but is never decisive on its own, which matters most in catalogues whose products carry no model or part numbers.

4

Multi-sourcing & best supplier

Link the same product to multiple suppliers. The system compares prices, stock and delivery times and automatically picks the best source.

5

Duplicates caught before they become a problem

The same item arriving from two suppliers under different article numbers is detected on EAN, title and attributes. Candidates are shown side by side with a clear account of why they are believed to be the same, and are merged only once you confirm — with every supplier source preserved on the surviving product.

6

You notice when a supplier changes course

An attribute drift report shows when a supplier starts sending new or changed attributes, so you see the shift as it happens rather than months later. Changed texts and images land in the review queue instead of overwriting what you have already polished.

7

Supplier text that fits your shop

Inline styles, CSS classes, editor IDs and tracking attributes from the supplier's website are stripped before the description is saved and pushed on — while specification tables, lists and bold text are preserved. The supplier's fonts and colours no longer bleed into your own design. Change detection also looks at the visible text rather than the markup, so a renamed class or an extra tag no longer counts as the content having changed.
